A Bit About Me
Jill Tomalty, A-LPC/MHSP is practicing in affiliation with Balint's Counseling while under clinical supervision with Dr. Andy Melton, LPC-MHSP (2687). She is also a Certified Professional Coach.
Native Michigander and 22-year veteran of the Nashville Music and Entertainment industry, Jill works with a wide variety of clients, assisting any adult who is struggling or feels “stuck” in their current life. Using a combination of evidenced-based modalities as well as solution-focused coaching skills, Jill is down-to-earth, humorous, and uses an eclectic approach tailored to each individual client’s needs. Jill deals with issues such as: Depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, emotional intelligence, self-esteem, church hurt/abuse, the LGBTQ community, and a variety of relationship and communication problems. Jill also specializes in clients from The Music Industry as well as works in partnership with Vanderbilt Neuorology assisting patients who suffer from Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures by uncovering trauma and doing deep inner-child work. Collaborating with clients and helping them navigate difficult seasons in order to grow into healthier, happier versions of themselves makes this work her life’s passion. She is currently scheduling clients during the week both virtually and in her Franklin office.

You will most likely find Jill on a trail with her golden retriever mix, Eddy Arnold, vacationing near water, on a pickleball court, or at the newest local restaurant. She loves to cook, travel, go to local events and listen to live music.
