My self-pay rate for individuals is $150 for individual sessions, and $165 for EMDR and Child Centered Play Therapy. I do offer sliding scale options when needed to provide service that is as accessible as possible. Please contact me to further discuss your needs regarding sliding scale options.
A Bit About Me
Piper Elrod, LPC-MHSP (temp) received her Educational Specialists degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Middle Tennessee State University. Before starting the professional counseling program at MTSU, Piper graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Studies.
Piper is eager to work with individuals across the lifespan with a focus on young children, adolescents, and teens. Although she works with many children and families, she has experience seeing adults for depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, LGTBQIA-related issues, and trauma. Piper has received specialized training in child-centered play therapy, expressive arts, crisis intervention, Gottman therapy, internal family systems, and EMDR.
Piper believes that each person is already equipped with the knowledge, skills, and strength they need to heal when they walk through the door. She desires to provide a safe space to foster growth while honoring her client’s unique experience. Using creative modalities and genuine connection, she hopes to empower her clients towards their most authentic and healthiest self. Piper desires to create meaningful relationships with her clients that allow them to feel valued, understood, and accepted as they grow.
